Once again, another convention! And it looks as if the Hobbit will be there as well. Not as big as either Fantasy or San Diego Con, but still going to be very cool. Once again...*sigh* I cannot go...urg! Maybe I'll be able to go to one of these things in a couple years when I'm older. Even a Con in my area would be nice...someday--someday. Anyways, the actors representing the Hobbit are; Orlando Bloom (Legolas), Stephen Hunter (Bombur) and Dean O'Gorman (Fili). Grrr.....I want to say hi to all of them!!! Well, this is their first day at the Con and will last up until the end of tomorrow. Here's the info from the article by the One Ring: Pretty epic, if I must say so myself. I love hearing live music! I've never gone to an actual professional level event such as this but it would be such a great privilege to be able to go! Probably not gonna come to where I live anyways...*sigh* well I haven't checked that part yet. Well, if you get to go, have a wonderful time! Here's a little tie bit of the Post and the whole post is in the link at the bottom of this article. -Roise When I watch a new movie/tv series I always look for moments that look or seem like they could be from LOTR or Hobbit. Or I look for references from Middle-earth...you get me? So in this post I will point put a few things in OTHER movies that relate to Middle-earth and its people. In the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' films, Orlando (Legolas) is picking up an Aragorn look and actually getting messy. (Never would have thought...he's an elf!) I wonder if Viggo (Aragorn) watched those movies and laughed. I would If I were him! Hehehehe! In the Avengers, when Iron Man is given the task of Putting Hawk Eye on a high building he says; 'Hold on Legolas.' (Or something like that, it has been a while since I watched the movie) If Orlando watched that movie I'm pretty sure he started laughing. (Sorry the First two have only been Legolas referenced but I'm getting to the other ones don't worry.) |
