My journey to Middle-earth...
I began my journey within the land of Middle-earth when I was 10 years old. Of course the orcs scared me but I hid behind my Link doll and eventually I over-came my fear of the creatures...and Gollum who I was deathly scared of at age 7 when I first attempted to watched LOTR. But I'm so happy and grateful to be introduced to this amazing land, truly one of the best things that ever happened to me! The land is beautiful, the characters are wonderful and of course I fell in love with each and every one of them (Particularly a *ahem* certain elven Prince...)and I also could relate to most everyone in a special way. I love how Frodo, a small hobbit the most unlikely person in the world could have the most will-power to resist the ring. It did corrupt him eventually but he had more will to resist it than those in higher power. The Fellowship worked together to defeat there enemies and over-come tough situations through bonds of friendship and love, two of the most strongest bonds in the world. There is a true, powerful story behind the Battles and adventure of Middle-earth and I do think more need to realize that...The Lord of the Rings story is about trust and standing up and 'fighting' for what is right. It's like Sam said to Frodo in 'The Two Towers':
"Because there's some good in this world Mr. Frodo...and it's worth fighting for." -Samwise Gamgee
And I honestly don't think I'll stop loving Middle-earth anytime soon, I'll just keep saying; 'A day may come, when I will stop loving Lord of the Rings....But it is not this day! No, actually that day will never come!' Ha ha!!!! So there!

My 'Desolation of Smaug' Experience
This is my personal experience of how I felt about the day I first watched 'DOS'
I was slow to wake that morning. Staying up late with my friend Elisabeth the night before made me want to stay in bed for another couple hours. But then I couldn’t help a smile and a pang of excitement as I remembered what I was going to do today. I was going to see ‘The Desolation of Smaug’! After waiting for a whole year for the second chapter in ‘The Hobbit’ trilogy, my anticipation and patience were to be finally rewarded!
