Yet again, let the anticipation rise...the date for the home video release of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies has been announced! March 24th 2015 is the day we bring the last chapter home....
What next? Well, first when we get the DVD in our hot little hands we'll put it in our players and watch it the rest of the day and memorize every line and every move of each character. And then we'll watch it again and again and again. THEN we'll have a Hobbit marathon...then a Lord of the Rings marathon. And then we'll continue to wait (and we're pretty sure we can) for the...EXTENDED EDITION!! Of course I do not yet have the extended editions of either An Unexpected Journey or The Desolation of Smaug because I'm waiting for the bundle of all three Hobbit films. I'm hoping that possibly there will be more special features in the pack, but I suppose we'll see. And I'm sure my patience will pay off, yes no?
So, only a month and a day to go right? Gah! I can't wait!!! Every single moment of this movie is so epic I can barely handle it. *sigh* I'm sad that I probably won't be seeing it in the theaters again but I'll make up for it by watching my copy a zillion trillion times. Yeah...it'll be fun! I am really excited to see what behind the scenes tid bits we'll see in this theatrical version. There will be tears...there will be hugs...and there will be more tears as we fans watch our favourite film team disband for the last time. *Sniff* I can only imagine what it was like for all of them to say good-bye to the people they had spent months if not years with. Some on the team were not there as long as others, but I bet everyone who worked on The Hobbit for at least a week, or even a day...came back different and will never forget the experiences they had. I feel glad for all who got to share in this wonderful project, and feel honored that I got to in someway see what everyone went through to produce these films. With all my love to each and every one of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings team thank you from the very bottom of my heart. You have made my life happier...
