First of all, this is my first post on my Star Wars blog! Yaaayy! But anyway, let's cut to the chase. I have yet to see Rogue One, but from what I've heard from the people who HAVE seen it...it's beyond amazing. Chances are, after I do go see it, I'll write my reiveiw of it. I'm going to see it in less than a week and I am VERY excited!
The trailers have left us with just enough to leave us craving more, they don't give too much away, but they show just enough to get us curious and interested in this band of rebels we have never seen before.
My uncle put it beautifully when he said that he went into this movie not knowing who any of these main characters were. But when he left the movie caring so much for them and their stories.
Personally, I've become attached to these character just from the trailers, and I can't imagine how much more I will come to care for them when I eventually do go to see the movie.

Another factor that got me super hyped for this film was the return of Darth Vader. I don't expect him to have a huge role like in episodes IV, V and VI. But none the less his presence will still be important and crutical to how the story plays out around these new characers of Jyn, Cassian, Baze, Chirrut and Bodhi.
I've ALWAYS been a backstory geek, whenever there's a backstory to any story or character that I like I'm all over any tid bit of their past I can get my hands on. And this story of Rogue One is backstory to not just pontentially episode IV but also the newest film in this Star Wars saga. Who knows what unexpected twists and turns in this Star Wars story may eventaully pay off in next year's upcoming episode VIII!

We may never know all the secrets, but I know I'll come away from this movie satisfied that I just watched an amazing Star Wars film. What makes it even cooler, is that this film was largely made by fans, who care deeply for this story created by George Lucas over thirty years ago. It wasn't until recently that this amazing galazy finally broke me after trying to get to me since I was very young. But, better late than never, right? And honestly I don't think I'll be wanting to leave anytime soon.
Until later, may the Force be with you!
Blessings,
Rosie
