I would like to go visit Bilbo at Bag End and have a cup of tea with him by his warm hearth. That also would brighten my spirits. Now please, don't think I am complaining, honestly, I just need to get it out. I'm not in tears bawling or anything I just feel tight and upset inside. I am glad for those who won, 'cause apparently they deserved it. But in any case, I'm now very hesitant to enter the contest next year. I dunno if I even want to, *sigh*.
Gandalf: It's okay young one, losing isn't the end of the world.
Me: I know, and it really isn't about losing and all, I just wanna get myself out there so people know who I am and what I'm capable of. I don't want to be isolated from the world my whole life.
Gandalf: *Wraps an arm around my shoulders* The world is big, but I do believe you have a capability to change it.
Me: *smiles a little* Just like you had faith in Bilbo and Frodo?
Gandalf: *smiles* Just like that, and look what they accomplished.
Me: *Sniffs and rubs an eye* Yeah, pretty awesome.
Yeah, Gandalf always says the right thing, love that guy! I do feel a whole lot better, after all, the whole of Fellowship is my friend.
Legolas: And I'm very glad we know you.
Me: *gets a little embarrassed and scuffs my feet* Aww, thanks.
Legolas: *hugs me* I am glad you feel better.
Me: Me too. *hugs him back, a huge smile on my face* Gandalf always says the right thing.
Legolas: *chuckles* He is the wise wizard. *pauses for a moment* Now, would you like to come to the Greenwood with me for a couple days?
Me: Yeah, 'course! You always know I will!
*Me and Legolas jump onto Arod and ride away*
Now if you'll excuse me, I have a destiny to fulfill.
Love from Rosie!
